Hayashi Case possesses FSC®/CoC certification throughout all of our business facilities.
As part of our social initiative to contribute to the conservation of the world’s forests and sustainability, we expect the shift to packaging using FSC® certified materials to become even more widespread in the future.
In response to such client’s needs, we have acquired CoC (Chain of Custody), which is a certificate for processing and logistics and one of the FSC® forest certifications, at all of our business locations (headquarters and two factories overseas).
We offer a comprehensive range of proposals, from planning to design, manufacturing and sales, for FSC® marked original packaging goods.
Other than jewelry cases, we can also propose novelty items, OEM products using wood and original products for you.
What is FSC®？
Forest Stewardship Council®
The Forest Stewardship Council® is a NPO/NGO that promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
The system of providing products made of properly controlled certified materials and responsibly sourced raw materials with a certified label is highly valued by many consumers, environmental groups and companies. It is globally renowned as the most reliable forest certification system in the world.
We have increasingly been receiving requests from clients in the jewelry/accessory industry to print the FSC® certified mark on their product packaging.
Only products that have been audited and certified that materials used have been properly managed throughout processing, manufacturing and distribution channels are qualified to use the FSC® registered trademark.
Retailers and other firms that use FSC certified products are not required to obtain FSC® certification because they are commercial organizations that are not involved in the processing or logistics of certified products until they are finished products.
However, by acquiring a "FSC® Promotion License", they can use the FSC® resistered trademark and carry out advertising activities related to the certified products.

How does it contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
The SDGs are the foundation for the policies of each UN member nation until 2030, with the final goal to eliminate poverty and secure sustanable prosperity for humanity under peace and equity.
As a new positive aspirational initiative to promote the use of forestry products produced under responsible forest management, this is a joint declaration in which firms using natural materials who have pleadged their commitment to promote responsible material procurement can participapte. FSC will contribute to achivement of the following 11 goals and 35 targets (achivement criteria) out of the 17 goals set out in the SDGs.
